Ghost

The voice echoing in your mind.

A heavy presence that isn’t there.

Chills running down your spine.

What am I talking about?  In a word, regret.

Regret is so powerful, and its ghost consumes so many of us.  We obsess over things left unsaid; things left undone. Times we wish we could do over.

But as powerful as regret is, it can be easily avoided.

You’ll never get a hit if you don’t swing; you’ll never make a shot you don’t take.

The message is simple—don’t avoid taking the chance on an opportunity.  No matter win or lose, don’t leave the chance on the table.  The world is filled with those who wish they would have, think they should have, know they could have—avoid their ghosts of regret.  Be different and stand out because you took the chance.
